Our parents or guardian always teach us that we should always respect our elders not just because they are older than us but they have seen and experienced almost everything in life

Just imagine what is the saddest thing in this world for an old men? It is the condition when he becomes insignificant. When he has so much to say to people, so many personal stories of triumphs and failures, romances and adventures and yet there is no one for him with whom he can share this. This is I believe is the greatest loneliness that a person can undergo.

Look around, you will find such people in your neighborhood and probably in your own home who have become insignificant now. People feel bored when they start to narrate their stories. No one needs their wisdom. Can you imagine the emptiness that they must feel.

So, this people who have lived (survived) in this world for so many years, deserves respect. No matter how annoying and creepy they may seem, they deserves to be felt significant. And plus showing kindness to someone is very inexpensive, you can give it very subtly and easily.

There are certain situation when we have to always respect the behavior not the age. Yes I know it’s important that we should give respect to elders because they have more experience than us, even sometimes old people don’t get the love and respect that they truly deserve but what if their behavior towards us is bad? At that time we should confront them and we should ask them.

Our country is known to respect elders, Mother and father are always next to god and they always teach us that we should respect elders, you know actually everyone deserves respect, nobody wants to be disrespected even the animals deserve respect but my point here is to get aware with the situation where someone is doing wrong with you and you are just tolerating it, at that time you should speak up.

Respect and adore everyone- elders, children, teens, people from different culture, profession, from all walks of life; until, through their actions, they compel you to have a strong reason for not respecting them.
